AAUW of Alabama

AAUW–Alabama includes the state organization and eleven local branches in Alabama, working to turn the American Association of University Women (AAUW) mission into reality in our own communities. AAUW has played a vital role in the history of women’s achievements in Alabama and continues to work toward equitable access of opportunity for women and girls. AAUW-AL activities include:

- state and branch programs
- support for the fellowships and research of the Educational Foundation
- support for the court cases selected by the Legal Advocacy Fund
- action on AAUW Public Policy priorities
- collaborative partnerships with other organizations in achieving common goals
- publication of the state newsletter

As we advocate for ourselves and other women and young girls, let us remember that we are better together.
